TruthWon is a Christian Gospel rap duo based out of Palm Beach County, Florida. The group consists of a powerful niece/aunt combination-rapper/writer Ollie Belle and her aunt, Sher Bear, a powerful vocalist/writer. They have a fresh blend of hip/hop and contemporary gospel sound with a unique vibe in the Christian music industry. Their style puts them in their own lane to be able to reach and minister to the young, as well as the mature listeners; a cross-over sound, reaching across age barriers and music genres.

Becoming a Christian rap group was not always in the plan. Both children of pastors, TruthWon overcame many obstacles before discovering their true calling of music ministry. Ollie battled through depression, anxiety, and crises of faith during her younger years. Skilled in writing, acting, and music production, she expressed her struggles as a rapper in the south Florida open mic scene, but never found her true calling until God called her into Christian music ministry.

Shery, a singer, choir director, and former violinist, got involved in several Gospel music groups over the years trying to pursue her God-given purpose and use her musical talents for God. Shery formed her own gospel singing group in 2012 called “Wings of Judah.” She wrote a song called “He’s Coming Soon,” which the group performed at the South Florida Gospel Music Awards. They were offered radio play, but due to unfortunate circumstances, the group disbanded. Finally, in 2014, Ollie and Shery joined forces on a song Shery wrote, called, “Use Your Gifts For God.” From then on, TruthWon was born, bonded by blood and through the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. They released their first single, “Blessed” in 2018 and followed that up with “Good Thing” in 2021. Both songs are available on all streaming platforms.
